So to help you to organize your sejour, here it is the last minute information:

* The Symposium will take place in the Conference room "Le Cristal" in Plouénan. The hotels are in Roscoff. A free shuttle service (map) will be at your disposal during the symposium every morning (17th & 19th at 8:00 and 18th at 7:30) and every evening.

*  The final programme of the Symposium.

*  The weather is supposed to be a Continental one (17-22°C, sunny/rainy).

* At your arrival (airport in Guipavas-Brest or TGV-Station in Morlaix), a taxi service should be at your disposal (Cab company "Le Pors" 02 98 67 00 00).

The Breton vegetable producer's organisation and BBV's Organizing Committee are pleased to invite you to attend to the "7^th International Symposium on Artichoke, Cardoon and their wild relatives", which will be held in Saint-Pol de Léon, France, from 16^th to 19^th June 2009.

We hope you will enjoy your time here meeting fellow scientists, researchers, PhD students as well as growers and industry representatives. 

This meeting will focus on applied and basic research as well as technological development of all aspects of the use of the Cynara species. Participants are invited to deal with thematics sush as sustainable protection of the genetic biodiversity, breeding and related biotechnological tools, crop physiology and cultural practices, disease and pest management, post-harvest and food technologies as well as product quality and valorisation, including non-food outlets.

After Bari (Italy), Tudela and Murcia (Spain), Saint-Pol de Léon, the city of the "Camus de Bretagne" will host this 7^th symposium.
